Ian Stevenson, M.D. is known for his groundbreaking research into the phenomena of children who remember previous lives. From 1967-2001, Dr. Stevenson was the Director of the Division of Personality Studies at the University of Virginia. Ian Stevenson’s research into cases of children who claim to remember previous lives has taken him around the world. He employs rigorous scientific methods in his research into such cases. His Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation, published in 1966, documented 20 cases in which reincarnation was offered as the most plausible explanation for the phenomena. Dr. Stevenson is the author of many other books, including Unlearned Language (1984), Children Who Remember Previous Lives: A Question of Reincarnation (1987), Where Reincarnation and Biology Intersect (1997), and European Cases of the Reincarnation Type (2003).
